Parents are naive if they think they can keep their children off of social media. They will just use their friends phones. I personally don’t get the social media thing but teenagers like it. This is how they communicate.

We let our teenagers use it. My kids understand the expectations and that phone use is a privilege. We have had discussions about what is appropriate and not. As a parent, I would rather openly have that discussion than not knowing what they are doing.
