Remember when BYU struggled against winless FCS Portland state in game 1?
Then couldn’t cross the 50 LSU in game 2? (LSU would go on to lose to Troy)
Under Kalani BYU has averaged a SOS at 71.5, BM was 64.8, GC was 48.5.
The last 3 seasons BYU has lost to several teams worse than Navy and Troy and struggled to put teams away.
Schedule doesn’t account for the clear improvement so far. Team is way better this season so far.
We would’ve finished ranked last year with this team as well with just beating teams like #125 Toledo, sub-100 USF, SDSU, Hawaii etc.
