Depends on the goal. If we want to get lost in the mix like Wake, Texas Tech
or Purdue...sure. Most years those schools play a great schedule and even occasionally pull off a great upset and make a decent bowl game. But, they often don't reach a bowl game and just flounder as an also-ran.
BYU has some great recent wins...but we are floundering with 7-6 records because our resources, recruiting and coaching isn't up to the challenge to be a top-25 team playing a P5-like schedule. We will have better win-loss records and higher rankings if we switch out a couple of our tougher games for easier games each season.
