If the goal is to perpetually exist as 1979 BYU, Jarom is absolutely right.
We can win 10-12 games almost every year, get talked about on Sportscenter, and then... well then nothing. That's where it ends.
A lot of people would like to see BYU build towards being more of a true P5 type program. Ultimately, that may not be possible as an independent. But, we know for sure that it's impossible if we just go back to the old G5 model.
