I don't have the luxury of recalling memories of Ty as a player.

Unfortunately when I think of Ty Detmer all I'll remember is him being over some of the worst years of offense I've ever seen at BYU. And that is why it was a huge mistake to hire him. Dude was a decent HS coach with absolutely no college coaching or recruiting experience. And TH throws him to the wolves as a full-on OC?
