Nope.  BYU is willing to back it up, Washington won't.  BYU called a fight, and Washington said "OK!  Maybe we'll fight you.  You come to the ring on Saturday - pay your own way here to do it - and maybe...MAYBE we'll be here too and we can fight!  Nah - this isn't BYU not backing it up.  This is BYU saying "Sure, we'd love to fight you.  Just guarantee us that you actually are going to fight us after we go to the expense and effort of showing up."  Washington and the PAC12 won't do that.  That's you and yours not backing it up.  You say they want to fight too - but your conference is totally noncommital (like a lot of your scholarship offers, from what we hear.)

You want UW to take all the risk yet you NEED the game.

Umm....I don't know how to tell you this, but wrong again.  Maybe you've missed it, but BYU has played 9 games already - and is likely to have a couple more before the season ends.  Meanwhile - most of the PAC12 will be lucky to get half that number.  BYU would like the game, sure.  But the PAC12 is the one with games cancelling left and right looking for inventory in order to not lose TV money.  No one is asking UW to take a risk.  We're just asking them to play the game and assure us they won't back out midweek.
