If the conference is the one who did this - it wouldn't go well for UW...

...to come out and say "Hey! Our conference is playing games and talking crap. But we're good!" They're balancing a relationship too, and it won't go well for them to air dirty conference laundry for everyone in the press.

This who thing is dumb - all the way around.
