You’re actually in a good position. You have a wife who loves you and an awesome
little baby. That’s a blessing.

Even professionally, you have a degree and age is on your side. What I mean is, because you are young you have the luxury of taking a step back to figure out what it is you really want to do. It could be grad school or a completely different industry. Maybe days like today are what you need to have the motivation to make that pivot.

Don’t compare yourself to anyone else, and don’t worry about your useless degree. Most people don’t work in the same field as their degree, anyway.

If you have any concerns about depression or mental health, know that there is absolutely zero shame in that, and many people can and will want to help you. If that’s you, I strongly recommend seeing a professional who can help you sort through things. You’ll be glad you did.
