You job is to assess where you are and then figure out where you want to be. I worked in electronics as an engineer for 20 plus years and came to a very dead end. I had a new boss who was younger and treated me like an indentured servant. i had been working on a second degree for sometime. This second degree was a BS in radiological sciences. This was the spring board to becoming a Physician Assistant. I graduated at 52 years of age. I still practice full time and I will be 70 this year. People have asked how I did it. I don’t know except to say that once you settle on the goal you NEVER give up. By the way I have 4 sons and have been married for 44 years. In October I had surgery for cancer and I believe it was curative. I missed 2 weeks and was back at work. Much of my success I owe to my terrific wife. Figure out what you want to do and go get it!
