I’ve known way too many people who ate like garbage and rarely exercises and yet were/are very fit looking and way too many people who ate strict diets and exercise routinely who didn’t resemble anything close to a fitness models... to believe it’s primarily controlled through diet and exercise. Diet and exercise absolutely move the needle but you aren’t taking a mule and making it a race horse no matter what you do to that mule.
People tend to get uncomfortable with the idea that we’re not created equally genetically speaking and I don’t understand why. Genetics in an of itself is a highly complex subject and to think we’re all just the same with the same even playing field to work with is silly.
