I think you've moved away from "the unknowns" to "it's not a serious disease".
Which seems to be the true reason why. I'm guessing here but when you start adding that little tidbit onto all your reasoning it becomes somewhat transparent that you do not believe that COVID 19 is a significant disease. And frankly that is the exact same argument that anti-vaxxers have used for decades. Their classic arguments are:

1. The disease is not that bad.
2. The vaccine is guaranteed risk, the disease is theoretical risk.
3. Vaccines contain toxins.
4. Vaccines have side effects.
5. Why should I vaccinate when I'm not the one at risk.

None of these arguments involve "we don't know much about it because its a few months old and I'm going to wait." Which is really the only argument for being against vaccination now other than "I've had Covid and will wait until the end to see if I really need it."

In my humble opinion.

As for the question of morbidity and mortality in various populations the honest answer is we don't know precisely the long-term morbidity and mortality for Covid so comparisons are uneven. Even if we take the current data at face value (which I'm inclined to do) its still falls to herd immunity to protect the vulnerable...unless you believe there is no vulnerable population because there is no real risk. To which I'd say, tell that to the marathoner 40 year old waiting on a set of lungs because of covid.
