This individual can do what I did when I was married and had a baby to support. My job didn’t pay enough, but instead of signing up for government assistance I enlisted in the Military. That as a career would’ve taken care of me and my family, although we wouldn’t be rich. Instead of staying in the military I decided to use the gi bill and go to college. We had to sacrifice a lot (3 kids by then and my wife didn’t want to work) and were even poorer than we were before the military. But the sacrifice paid off, with a marketable degree I now have a good paying job.
