Right. But we finished the year at #16 in the playoff rankings.
Many teams ahead of us even played 2-4 less games. Granted if we had 4 P5’s on the schedule it could’ve been #10-13, but I think the bias or whatever you wanna call it is too much to include a 1 loss BYU over a 3 loss P5. No matter how fair or unfair that is.
This isn’t a knock to independence btw. I’d prefer independence over G5, but with the potential new playoff system I’m not sure what’s best
