Your assumption that in this scenario the committee would have ranked Oregon
higher than Cincinnati this past year doesn’t jive. Do I think that a near tie (e.g. #8 VS #9) would likely go to a conference champ from a P5?:Yes. Do I think they will blatantly disregard the G5 champions that have had tremendous years with great OOC wins like Boise, Utah, Cinci in years gone by?: No
