This is unquestionably a net positive for college football. As it effects BYU,
Doesn’t really change our reality that much. Undefeated season against tough competition or no playoff. Join the AAC or somewhere else and maybe you have a better chance, but the reality is conference champions are typically undefeated or one loss anyway. BYU’s path to the CFP will still be a 12-0 regular season.
