Hopefully your in-laws can get that figured out. I think they did the right
thing, but they need to realize that they either need to fly first class or their kids will. Those millions will likely continue to grow (if still invested properly), and at some point their kids will inherit a ton of money (unless they end up giving it to a charity upon death or something).
I do think it can be a difficult transition for people who were super savers and retired early.
