Mine was similar with different criteria. As we moved around the country
1) pick the best schools
2) find a house in that area that we could improve and would appreciate in value
3) max out all company sponsored retirement option, 401k, options, ESOPs, Roth
I wish we had done 4 experiential trips per year instead of one. The kids remember the houses but the fun stories are all about the trips
