RE: There are tons, how close do you need to be to what size airport?
The Airport needs to have a direct flight to at least one of the major hubs in the West (SEA, SFO, LAX, LAS, SLC, DEN, PHX). Realistically, we could be up to 3 hours away from that airport, but less than 90 mins would be ideal. That lnarrows it down to maybe ~30 airports
We also want to have access to winter sports (X-Country Skiing, Snowboarding).
We are hoping to find a 4 bd 2 bth 2500 sq ft house with some land (maybe .3 acres?) for under 400k.
Maybe I should move the SE and just give up winter sports 🙁 There are lots of cheap houses in AL, MS, TN, etc.
Not of a fan of the generally high taxes in the NE, but NH might be ok. VT, CT, and MA are a hard "no" from me.
