You are right.....
But coaches and administrators who think that how fans feel about the program is irrelevant are also mistaken. Piss the fans off, talk down about them when you are a washed up former player....drive the passionate fans away. Those fans have friends and if enough of them get driven away then they take the money with them.
I'm not a huge booster, but if Coach Rockwood or a former BYU Women's soccer player started talking down about fans who are frustrated with things my regular donations go poof!! I don't give a crap what a former player thinks or says....especially not Stevenson. BYU needs fans and boosters, not the other way around.
