If you'll punish a current team because of what a former player says on twitter
that seems like a 'you' problem. I, for one, am glad our coaches and admin aren't making decision based on your and my CougarBoard rants after losses.

You know, there was a scenario where a BYU football coach actually DID say pretty much what you're talking about. In 2009 Bronco bashed fans for criticizing players and guess what? Nothing happened! He coached for another what, six years before leaving?

If coaches are winning and have a program heading upward they are safe, even if vocal (or as you put it "passionate") fans find stuff to get all wadded up about. What BYU fans are saying about Kalani or Tui aren't going to change anything, I promise you. Tui isn't going to say "I just read CougarBoard and those guys are pretty mad that I couldn't stop the run vs UCF, Boise State, or Baylor. I should re-think my strategy.". It just doesn't matter. It's bizarre that people on here are arguing this.
