I'm not as familiar with the Toyota v6s, but they all have the same design philosophy and have been proven. The
Biggest issues with older Toyotas...heck, all Toyotas. Is rust.
I'm going to be spending a lot of time this winter with a brush and por 15 on my vehicles. Toyotas frame coating and treatment is terrible.
The drivetrain will always out love the chassis, as the chassis only has 12-20 years of life if not maintained.

In 2007 I think the Tundra pushed the market, made the big 3 act to get better. It seems like this version gets Toyota

In my experience the Toyota engine/transmission/everything really is just much more durable and reliable...

The torque curve is perfect for towing, just not 10klbs up mountain passes at 80mph. I've never towed with
