I can very clearly hear my dad saying
“You know you try so hard to bring them up right, but there comes a time where you have to let them go and hope they do what’s best.”
He said it in a joking way, but was dead serious about it. My oldest is this way. He’s 17. My wife is always wanting to bail him out. I really think after about 16 they just have to figure it out and deal with the consequences themselves with most of this stuff. Good luck.
