a second story. A few years ago, my wife and I were leaving church when a single member asked for a ride. She wasn't
anywhere on the way, but it gave us a chance to talk to her, and we dropped her without any incident. When I got out to open her door, my ipad mini got knocked out of the door pocket, so I picked it up and set it on the top of the car. Then opened her door, and then said good bye, climbed in and drove off.

When I got home, I found my ipad was missing and suddenly my gut clenched, and my headache started. I used find my devices, and sure enough, I had a live signal from my ipad. And it was in the parking lot where we dropped her.

So, my wife and I pile back in the car, drive back across the city, and into the lot which has ONE car sitting parked in a stall. Find your device says that my ipad was in or on that car, a quick peek in the windows and the edge of my case is sticking out from under a shawl on the back seat. We tried bumping the car to set off the alarm (only the lights would flash), we called the YSA we dropped off and explained the issue, she promised to follow up. I sent pings to the device the next day for several hours and about an hour before they pulled the card, I locked the ipad remotely - good luck suckers!!
