From the surface level of the original post, I stand by what I posted

If he was truly that frustrated by his adult son he should take a step back. If what I posted caused him to pause for a moment and consider why that isn't in his or his son's best interest due to the circumstances he elaborated on, then great. I'm glad I could help him assuage some of his frustration.
