I'm not convinced with your strength of schedule argument. BYU played

more P5 schools than Utah and Utah had 13 wins against the 19 P5 schools they played unless you are counting schools that weren't invited to a P5 conference until 2011. It is still a better win percentage than BYU who had 23 P5 games and 10 wins, but that is still not convincing if Utah's wins are against bottom dwellers or vice versa. That's not worth my time to look up.
