When I was in like 4th grade a girl in my class was telling the teacher about a
reading test she'd done and she could read at like 6th grade level or something. I was like, yeah? Well, I can read at an 8th grade level. Or something like that. I didn't really know what level I could read at or anything, but this girl was new in the school I think and she had hearing aids and didn't have a lot of friends from what I could see. I hate that I stole that little victory from her. If I could have a time machine to fix all the stupid things I've done, I'd start there.
