They don’t. That’s why usc and ucla left. Their tv markets don’t pay. They
Dont have enough fans who care and attend games or watch them on tv. The Pac is alway in late at night. No one around the country cares about them. The pac paid $20mil per school with usc and ucla. The Big12 paid $42mil.
UO and UW will not stay because there isn’t a school anywhere they can entice to the pac and take less money. They can only add boise and SDSU type teams and that would be even less money.
The only outcome is any team that can get out of the pac and get to a higher paying and more stable conference will.
It may not happen right now. It may happen a year or 2 from now. But UW and UO and Utah etc will not be in the Pac 2 years from now.
