Week 9 - #1 BYU (8-0) vs ECU (6-2)

ECU comes into this one on a 4 game win streak including wins against Memphis and UCF. Their starting Quarterback was injured in the win against UCF, and the backup is an unknown that has 0 starting experience in his collegiate career. Yes, you know exactly where this one is going.

ECU gets the ball to start, and their backup QB goes 7-7 on the drive ending in 7 points. BYU answers just as efficiently, and the score is 7-7. Neither offense slows down throughout the first half, and ECU's quarterback ends the half 21-22 passing and 3 TDs. ECU leads 28-24 at halftime. The fireworks weren't over yet, as BYU and ECU trade touchdowns for the entire 3rd quarter, leading to a 42-38 ECU lead going into the fourth.
