Her focus is all wrong. The issue isn't what the football team looks like.
The real issue is some components of the Honor code are long overdue for an overhaul, and she is right about this being embarrassing, but not for the team. Embarrassing for the school that maintains a fairly ridiculous grooming standard. I can understand other students feeling frustrated if rules are only enforced unilaterally, but the real solution is changing the dumb rules, not calling out the football team.
