One's outward appearance does not a saint make. Like I said, committing to live the standards of the church, and even doing so in writing, great. Establishing a literal "higher law" that focuses so much on outward appearances, grooming standards, and nonsensical rules? That's a hard NOPE for me.

A University full of people who are striving to be more like Christ is what sets BYU apart... That's what makes it unique. That has NOTHING to do with a 5:00 shadow, or long hair.
