stop on ball physicality by calling hand check, but off ball fouls are rarely called, and if they do get called it’s almost always on the offense. Defensive off ball physicality never gets called.

But the reality is that those guys would have no idea how to even guard on the perimeter because it was never done back then. Defenses just gave up threes and tried to pack the paint.

I’m positive that the warriors would light up that starting five and score with total ease. Jordan is the only guy that can guard the ball on the perimeter. All it would take is a Draymond screen and if team USA switched, curry would destroy any of the other four. If Jordan tried to go through the screen, he would end up behind the play with Durant and Klay just waiting there salivating. The warriors would also run mercilessly on that team and there is no way they could keep up. By the end of the game jordan would be ready to kill the other four because they would get worked

That said, the warriors would absolutely struggle with jordan running the pick n roll with Barkley and Malone. That size and athleticism would be unstoppable for the warriors. Even though Draymond is an all time great pick n roll defender and iguadala and Thompson are great wing defenders, the size and speed of jordan and Barkley with Malone in the dunkers spot or also running pick n roll would be an automatic two. Then there’s Jordan and magic, that could be the best pick n roll tandem ever

Or they could just isolate Jordan with Ewing and Malone spread out along the baseline and Barkley in the dunkers spot. That too would be unstoppable

So both teams would score. The question would be whether the warriors threes would be enough to top team usa’s twos. I think it would be a really good game.

Like I said though, that’s assuming only starters are on the floor. Once the second units come in, the warriors would get crushed
