eliminate ALL parking, they absolutely would. It has been a problem for decades and shows zero signs of ever changing.

Have your daughter get familiar with UVX. That is what both of my daughters use.

It is somewhat annoying as the idiot residents in Provo won't let them put a stop on 9th, so students have to either hike south of campus or over by the mail and print building near the MTC...but it works well and is free.


I remember looking at the parking when my daughters were living in Heritage, and honestly everything I saw said the parking was at LES. We didn't even bother trying to figure out a car for either of them because of that. Not saying there might not be other information out there.. just saying that was our experience. None of which changes the fact that BYU is awful about parking.

Good luck. It would be great if BYU accepted cars as a part of life. You are fighting an uphill battle. I hope you can help make a change.
