We intentionally moved into our excellent public high school's boundaries to avoid that. Private school is very common, but no one in our Ward can afford that. Fortunately, our school district has a very developed magnet and charter school network that allows parents and students to choose programs outside their zoning if they qualify. We have several high schoolers doing that.
