Best option for us. We started 20 years ago and I was against it. Thought
homeschoolers were a little unusual. I have found it definitely makes a difference how you go about it. And, if my kids are weird, great, we are way more available to do fun things (vacations off peak) are doing well in school, and have participated in high school sports, band, musicals, etc. I have two kids graduated from college now, one at BYU at the Marriot school and one starting in a couple weeks after returning from his mission. I love when people get to know my kids and say, "wait, you were homeschooled?" Many people are as ignorant about homeschooling as I was.
