I have on and off for years. I wish I was now, but I'm in a private school
for 2, a Catholic school for 1 and public school for the other.

Homeschool is the best by far. The woke nonsense in my public schools is insane. Kids are all depressed in public schools because they have been told they are the problem for years. It was going on before 2020, but was massively exposed and worsened after that.

It is true that you have to find avenues for social interaction, and it does get trickier in high school - missing out on some of the coming of age rituals. My state sucks for not allowing home schoolers to play school athletics in the district they live in...one of the few states that doesn't allow it.

All in all, though, today's public school kids are mostly social media/screen zombies, who couldn't carry a conversation in a bucket.

Plus, look around and see who is in education? It's far left wing ideologues. As administrators and teachers. Yes, it may be slightly better in red states, but not much. Utah Dept of Ed is a mess. Plenty of problems with Utah teachers trying to go behind parents' backs, to counter home/gospel teachings.

My Mom (20 years), my brother (30 years) and 2 sisters (one of whom got a Master's of Ed at Harvard) have all been public school teachers. I was a public school kid. I used to believe in public schools.

I mostly loathe public schools now. They are indoctrination camps. Kids can't speak their minds. They must repeat the wokeness. Just ask your kids about it. There are acceptable answers and unacceptable answers. Guess which ones are acceptable.
