My first wife did. 😉 Reality is she didn't do anything, when we got divorced
kids had to start elementary school and my middle kid was held back a year. My oldest wasn't a big deal but she always wanted to learn, read, etc..

We have a family in our ward that does it and the mom has a schedule and they also meet with other kids/parents that do this. I believe their kids are excelling and doing well at home schooling. I do think they are socially just fine.

The oldest will start HS, 9th grade, and she is going to go to the actual school next year. Will see how that goes, will be interesting to see how it affects their schedule. I know they went on a lot of vacations when others were in school. I know they won't be able to do that here in TX as they can only miss a certain number of days before the police are involved and as a parent you go in front of the judge.
