He was a very good receiving OPTION, yes. And was very much missed, yes.
He was also very limited as a receiver. As were everyone in that WR room — except for Juergens when he was healthy (which wasn't often enough).
Like I said, I really wish we'd had a WR coach at the time who actually developed players. It almost makes me wish Mitch had chosen another school, cuz the kid surely had the natural goods to make a splash at the next level.
