QB: They told the Wilsons that their son was the only quarterback they would recruit. Great. How did the Wilsons respond? They went and visited six other schools. So loyalty was given to them, but they certainly didn't give it back. They looked out for themselves, and Kalania and Arod decided not to be loyal to the school that writes his stupid check.

That right there was the failure. ARod should have been all over the Wilson's and Hammond IMMEDIATELY from the word go. Whoever committed got the scholarship and the other was dumped. That's how the Wilson's handled it, they looked out for what was best for them.

There is just too much evidence that Kalani is a very poor organization and has some really bad ideas around recruiting. He's a really friendly guy, and people love him. That's great. But the lack of organization and this trickles down literally everywhere... from practice down to game prep, down to in-game decisions, down to recruiting... it's a cluster from top to bottom.

So you want to know why the QB position is a mess... it's because of Kalani... every position has seen a disaster of recruiting... and the ONLY way this gets fixed is a new OC that will push Kalani out of the way. But this time... Kalani has to go. It's time for a change. I'm done replacing just the coordinator and leaving Kalani to just be an unorganized mess elsewhere. Kalani has had too many chances and none of them have worked... it's time for Jay Hill to run this show.
