Isaac Wilson has no connection to BYU? Forget Zach Wilson, his brothers Micah and Josh were/are part of the BYU football program.
Zach was committed to Boise St because of lack of interest shown to him from BYU. BYU only got Zach because Detmer was fired and Kalani called Mike Wilson late at night and apologized for Detmer and over the phone offered Zach.
The recruiting by BYU for Isaac was horrendous. The recruiting of Isaac by Utah was a million times better. If BYU had truly wanted and recruited Isaac BYU would have him. To me, that is a massive loss but it is indicative of the lack luster recruiting effort from BYU in general.
