It has been 5 years of mediocre results. Next year is likely another 6-8 win
year even with a senior QB. That means at least 6 years running of mediocre results. The following year will have a brand new young and inexperienced QB. How long until that QB/team develops? I'ts possible one of the QBs will step right in and perform, but it is certainly unlikely. Do we give him another 2-3 years then to get BYU back to peak performance? So, we are okay with 8-9 years of mediocrity?
