administration. Nobody is sitting back comfortably right now. We have an extremely demanding fan base. The fact that you can point to some more optimistic posters on CB (there aren't very many) is not some sort of evidence that our fan base is fine with mediocre seasons. We're clearly not. We've never been OK with anything less than 10 win seasons, whether under Lavell or Bronco, and it's likely we never will be. Maybe if we join a P5 conference, the powers that be will be given a bit of leeway as the program adjusts to more difficult competition. Otherwise, seasons like this one will always cause extreme consternation among the fan base. That doesn't mean that the administration is going to allow themselves to make hasty decisions due to booster and fan pressure, but the level of expectations of the fan base definitely plays a big role in decision-making. That, and the administration has high expectations themselves. That's how we end up canning an entire offensive staff just two seasons after Doman is hired. Very little patience shown there, even with winning records and bowl appearances those seasons.
