He does not like it. Wants kids to recruit BYU, when that mentality will get you killed with top recruits who want to be recruited. Just how it is. And every other school will go hard at them. So he filled in the last schollies each year with players who do not see the field. So the depth of talent is not there presently.
Martzen is helping change that, but from 2008-2012, it was not good enough. 2010 looked great too, but man, that class flamed out mostly.
