There are many recruits, especially RM's, who want to come to BYU because it is BYU. That is a built-in advantage for many recruits and good coaches. Similarly, smart people want to work at Google because it is Google. Other schools, such as the UU, do not have that advantage to the same extent. People nationwide grow up wanting to play for BYU. There isn't that same level of growing up dreaming to play for the UU.
