Ah, but that's not what you asked. You've now exposed your agenda.
You asked at what point does Bronco become responsible. At no point did you ask when people would change their minds about Bronco if the current mediocrity continues. Maybe that's what you thought you were trying to get out of people, but that's not actually what you asked. Asking it the way you did makes a big assumption - that once people agreed that Bronco should be held responsible, they'd also agree that he should be replaced. Well, it's not that simple.

The only issue we ought to be worried about is how to best move the program forward, and we have a variety of opinion on that subject. Those opinions don't generally depend on whether people think Bronco is responsible for the product on the field. Of courses the head coach is ultimately responsible. Rather, the differing opinions are based on who people think is best suited to take us into the future. Some still hold that Bronco can learn from the mistakes of recent years, fix those mistakes, and be a better head coach because of it. Others think he's topped out as a head coach, and want to bring in someone new. The point I'm making is that those opposite opinions both take into account that the head coach is ultimately responsible for the product on the field.
