While I do think Boise has enjoyed better coaching than BYU, the same could be
said for about 120 other schools in FBS. Boise has outcoached a lot of schools in the last decade.
Also, it's intellectually dishonest to count this year's (or any future year's) NY6 for Boise since BYU has had several seasons more impressive than this one has been for Boise, but played under different rules. And you don't need to do it, for your argument's sake, since Boise has been more impressive without considering this year.
