I think that Bronco struggles with a couple of things and is otherwise a really good coach.

Bronco struggles with how to manage high profile players. Jake Heaps comes to mind and the debacle that was the summer between his Freshman and Sophomore year.

I think that Bronco struggles with Coordinator selection. Doman, Hill and Howell have all been train wrecks.

I think that Bronco doesn't know how to motivate for rivalry games. His own outlook of just playing your best every single game doesn't translate well to rivalry situations and so Whitt owns him.

Last, I think that Bronco is the coach I would want to send my kid to play for if I didn't think he really had NFL talent and just wanted to have a great future. Bronco doesn't develop elite talent. KVN and Ziggy are the notable exceptions.

I think that Bronco is an amazing DC. I think he is a remarkable, honorable man. I think he is probably one of the best there is at embracing the unique nature of BYU.
