I don't get this. If you see a regular doctor, they give you plenty of chances
to talk about the birthing experience and what your expectations are. You can set the terms, ask questions, and make requests (with reason). That's what sets good doctors apart from the rest.

If they aren't meeting those expectations or seem disinterested in them, they aren't your only option. It's a pay service. Find a doctor (and experience) you're happy with. It seems a bit reactionary to swear off doctors, hospitals, and medical advances in general just because of a perception issue.
