I'd say Apex (now Vivint) was a bigger issue
Yet BYU happily displayed their signage on the stadium, despite multiple State AG sanctions and fines leveled against the company for unethical and dishonest business misrepresentation by tons of their salespeople.
MLM strikes me more as a fool's errand, but perhaps it rises to the same level of a direct lie to your face that a sign in your yard somehow pays for your free system installation.
