But now, since everything is duplicatable, no one would pay $795 for a water filter when you can buy the same unit at Sears or Amazon.com for $69.
Jamberry was/is unusual enough that most women haven't seen them yet.
Now that they are becoming mainstream, and people understand what they are and how they are used, $6.00 sets of like product are all over the place at Walmart and Target.
Its still a fun party though -- and party plans have their own value that go beyond MLMs.... like sex toy companies. They are way over priced, and also fit all the bad profit margins BUT women find it a ton of fun to buy toys that way. So the value isn't from recruiting, or even the product but from being in the fun party environment.
