Obviously there are some great Utah fans
But I've seen it with my own eyes, in multiple games and not just against BYU. I think location is key. The end zones at RES seem to be where the rowdier ruder fans sit. I've sat in the west side in the middle and saw plenty of polite fans. But yes, Ute fans can be horrible, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of that comes from just fans of the team who never even attended the school.
